What will I find?
We can discover tiny planets at great distances because their gravitational pull affects the position of the star that it orbits. Radial spectroscopy is one method for detecting that movement. Click the magnifying glass below to explore this simulation or choose any of the stories listed on the left if you want to find out more about our search for distant planets and life in the universe.
